Why We Advocate

Across Nigeria and many parts of Africa, children with cerebral palsy still face stigma, discrimination, and exclusion. Many families experience shame, isolation, or lack of support simply because their child develops differently.

Our Advocacy

• Awareness Campaigns: Foster inclusion and acceptance through targeted campaigns.

• Community Collaboration: Work closely with local communities and stakeholders to amplify advocacy efforts.

• Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policy changes benefiting children with disabilities, families, and caregivers.

• Family Education: Educate parents particularly those of children and persons with disabilities on their rights and self-advocacy.

• Collaborative Partnerships: Foster partnerships with other organizations, advocacy groups, and service providers to amplify the collective voice of parents, families, and caregivers.
