Meet Miracle: A Journey of Hope, Love, and Possibility

In 2014, a little boy named Miracle was brought to SECHILD by his father, a gentle, determined man who happened to be blind. Though he could not see his son’s struggles, he felt them deeply. He knew Miracle needed more care and support than he could provide alone. But hope came in an unexpected form—through the airwaves of an FM radio.

Miracle’s father was an avid radio listener. One afternoon, he tuned in as his favorite station broadcast a special event: “Kick for Charity,” a football match organized by FM radio staff to raise awareness and support for children with disabilities. The announcers spoke passionately about SECHILD and its work with children facing physical, developmental, and neurological challenges. Something in their voices told him this was the place that could help his son.

Guided by faith and love, Miracle’s father made his way to SECHILD.

Since that day, Miracle has been part of the SECHILD family.

Under SECHILD’s care, Miracle has received holistic support, medical attention, therapy, education, and above all, love and dignity. Each step he’s taken, no matter how small, has been a testament to resilience and possibility. He has grown in confidence, strength, and joy.

Miracle’s story is not just about one child, it represents the heart of SECHILD’s mission: to empower children with disabilities to live fulfilling lives, regardless of their circumstances.

Today, Miracle continues to thrive. And it all started with a game of football played for a cause and a father’s unwavering love, carried on the waves of a radio broadcast.
